COVID POLICY

Covid Policy

This document outlines the role that a club will play in supporting the NHS England Track and Trace, NHS Scotland Test & Protect and NHS Wales Test Trace and Protect.

RDB Cycle will ensure an accurate register, including contact details, is kept for EVERY session – this will include name, contact telephone number and the date/time of the session. The register will be accessible by both the Covid Officer and the session host.

If someone who has attended your club activity develops symptoms of Covid-19, they should be directed to follow the applicable guidelines for their location.

If any club members show symptoms of Covid-19 they must immediately self-isolate and request a test.

The club’s current Covid Officer can be found on the About Us page under the Committee section. In case of a confirmed case, the Covid Officer will have to pass on details to a member of the relevant NHS team. The club will be expected to be able to pass on contact details of all participants should they be asked by the NHS.

It is not the responsibility of the club to inform members if someone at the club has tested positive for Covid-19. This will be done by the relevant NHS team. An individual’s right to privacy must be observed.

Data protection laws allow for the sharing of personal data where this is necessary for certain permitted purposes, such as in the interests of public health. Disclosing relevant contact details to a member of the relevant NHS team will not be a breach of the GDPR. Please see our Data Privacy Notice for more information.
