RDB Cycle EVENTS
Our events are open to all members and we want everyone to get involved.
RDB Cycle Club has three different types of event – charity events, weekly ride-outs and club events. Read on to learn about what is involved in each type of event!
All of our events are on our calendar and we are always adding new ones!
Charity Events
Since we started the RDB Cycle Club in the wake of a huge charity challenge, we aim as a club to continue to give back to the community and support some amazing charities.
We plan to host one charity event every year – something that everyone can participate in but is a big challenge!
Currently, the club is open to suggestions for our first official charity event which will be the 2022 challenge. All ideas can be dropped in the ‘Proposed Charity Event 2022’ text channel in the Discord server. The committee will vote at the first committee meeting to determine what the event will be.
We will then put a vote to all members to decide what charity you would like to raise money for! This will be done through a poll on our Discord server, so will be open to all members.
Club Events
Our club events are larger/longer cycling and non-cycling events such as sportives, the ‘Everesting’ challenge, training camps, cycling holidays or social events.

Some club events will have associated costs which are also detailed in the event in the calendar.
RDB Cycle wants to organise as many club events as possible to get us all out on the bikes more – if you have an idea for a club event suggest it to us! You can suggest an event by dropping a message in the Club Events channel in Discord or suggest it through the contact form to the right!
Weekly Ride Outs
Our weekly ride-outs are ran and organised by our RDB Cycle Club hosts. You can go to our Team page to find out who are current hosts are.
We currently have hosts in the following regions: Highlands, Midlands (Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire), and the South (Hertfordshire).
You can see all the weekly ride-outs in the calendar and they are separated by region.
More details for each ride can be found in the Discord server in the relevant text channel for each region.
To join a ride-out, please let the relevant host know you plan to attend by telling them in the text channel for that region.
